JOB SUMMARY:

As a Manufacturing Engineering Manager , you will provide leadership for the Manufacturing Engineering, Controls Engineering, and Maintenance departments within a machining facility. In this role, you will be engaged in full lifecycle of the equipment utilized to machine & assemble core engine components. From concept, procurement, and maintenance of the equipment you will have the opportunity to enable the organization to achieve performance objectives.

SUMMARY PAY RANGE:

$126,000.00 - $189,000.00

Responsibilities
  • This multi-faceted role has responsibility for the following areas:
  • Manufacturing & Controls Engineering Team with responsibility for the equipment and process design for machining applications.
  • Maintenance Team with responsibility for the maintenance of manufacturing equipment and controls systems within the facility.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members that not only satisfy current role, but also prepare them for their next opportunity.
  • Collaborate with peer organizations within the business to deliver enterprise objectives.
  • Coordinates the installation of new machines and equipment and process changes to provide the most efficient and economical manufacture or assembly of quality parts.
  • Coordinates release dates and availability of machines, equipment and material to maintain project schedules.
  • Establishes standards and works with shop personnel to resolve problems related to process, tooling, equipment, etc.
  • Support long-term objectives through collaboration with the Advanced Planning Team and management of the capital investment process from forecast to execution.
  • Maintain awareness of industry and technology changes as part of continuous improvement routine to better serve our customers.
