Description

Position Purpose: Support the weld / fab processes in the facility, troubleshoot and assist in problem isolation and solution. Provide back-up support to paint/assembly and machining areas as needed. Essential Functions: * Apply concepts and details of gauging, fixtures and tooling to assist in problem solving. * Identify areas in which tooling, cleanliness, operation sequences, or forming consistency can be improved to increase throughput or product quality. * Help in maintaining and control part programs for all weld/fab areas. * When necessary, help to evaluate existing tooling and fixturing to determine optimum method of repair or improvement. * Provide support to production associates as they assume greater responsibility in manufacturing functions Education & Training: * Five to seven years’ experience in manufacturing facility. Minimum Qualifications: * Ability to interpret prints sketches, verbal instructions, and mathematical data to identify tooling, gauging, and fixturing. * Excellent mechanical aptitude. * Formal training in robotics systems, CNC controls, machining, and SPC. * AutoCAD experience a plus. * Evaluate tooling and fixturing to determine optimum method of repair or improvement. * PLC programming knowledge. * Shift flexibility a must. * FANUC Robotics background preferred. * Welding Experience is a plus We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
