The Manufacturing Engineering Technician supports the manufacturing engineering team by producing and maintaining manufacturing documentation, programs, and stencils, ensuring that processes are in place and ready within required timeframes. This role works closely with engineers, production staff, and quality teams to ensure smooth transitions from engineering to manufacturing. The technician follows established work methods, applies technical expertise, and practices safe work habits to maximize efficiency, quality, and safety on the production floor. In addition, the position contributes to process improvements, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance overall manufacturing performance. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent; or currently pursuing.
• 1-2 years of Electronic Manufacturing experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create, update, and maintain manufacturing documentation, assembly instructions, and production travelers.
• Generate, verify, and manage SMT stencils, programs, and tooling to support production schedules.
• Collaborate with engineers to implement process changes, new product introductions (NPI), and design-for-manufacturability improvements.
• Support production teams by troubleshooting process issues and providing technical assistance.
• Ensure that all processes, equipment, and documentation are prepared and released on time to meet customer and internal deadlines.
• Maintain organized documentation control in accordance with company and industry standards.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in quality, efficiency, and safety.
• Assist with process validations, first article builds, and production trials.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and promote a safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively across engineering, production, and quality teams to support smooth operations.

While performing the duties of this role, the employee may occasionally work near moving mechanical equipment and be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The work environment typically has a low to moderate noise level.

• This position is based on-site at our Sun Prairie, WI facility.
• Hourly, full-time role with competitive pay.
