Description

QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
  • 6+ years of experience as manufacturing engineering technician.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting the production of electrical/mechanical components.

QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) navigation and usage. Proficiency should include creating, editing, and troubleshooting files in these programs.
  • Proficiency in SAP usage/navigation. Comfortable doing QN work with Collins-developed programs and in SAP.
  • Proficiency in TeamCenter usage/navigation. Able to navigate and search for items of need. Able to carry out change orders to update and release items in TeamCenter.
  • Simple CAD modeling/drawing work in ProE/Creo
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively identify and resolve issues and mitigate risks.
  • Ability to remain focused under pressure to assess and resolve challenges.
