Advanced Flow Systems Contract Manufacturing is looking for an experienced and energetic Engineering Technologist to join our team in Chilliwack, BC.
EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Completion of grade 12, supplemented by technical courses related to the work, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
- Experience preparing Solid Works Models and drawings
- Experience in an Industrial Manufacturing Environment
- Intermediate experience with current generation Microsoft Office software
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands on design and testing skills
- Able to read and interpret engineering plans and understand specifications
- Strong problem solving with accuracy in a technical environment
- Work efficiently in a team environment with little supervision
- Able to prioritize work to meet tight deadlines in a multi-task environment
- Able to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Responsibilities:
- Update Models & drawings with as-built information
- Undertake quality control processes related to existing Engineering data
- Make recommendations to improve team processes and information access needs
- Review designs submitted by other team members
- Provide clerical support such as maintaining spreadsheets, creating BOM’s and databases
- Potentially assisting with prototype build support
- Work closely with various departments including engineering, project management, supply chain and manufacturing
- Work in accordance with documented procedures and complete all applicable records
