Develop and implement systems and procedures to optimize workflows and reduce downtime. Monitor equipment, machinery, and infrastructure to ensure proper functionality. Maintenance and Repairs Plan, schedule, and manage preventive maintenance programs to minimize disruptions. Coordinate with internal technicians and external contractors for repairs and upgrades. Ensure critical infrastructure (HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems) remains in optimal condition. Budgeting and Resource Management Prepare and manage budgets for facility operations and maintenance. Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and reliability. Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and service providers. Evaluate maintenance costs and recommend equipment upgrades or replacements when needed. Health, Safety, and Compliance Ensure the facility complies with all local, state, and federal safety regulations in coordination with the safety team. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks. Promote a strong safety culture and ensure employees receive required safety training. Team Leadership Lead, coach, and manage a team of maintenance staff, engineers, and technicians. Provide training, mentorship, and performance feedback. Foster collaboration and clear communication across departments. What You Bring You’re a strong candidate if you have: Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field preferred. 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing or facilities management. Proven experience managing complex manufacturing facilities. Certified Facility Manager (CFM) credential preferred. Technical & Professional Skills Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and building systems. Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
