MANUFACTURING/FIELD TECHNICIAN

Location: Ottawa, ON
Travel: Frequent travel within Canada and occasional travel to the U.S. (expenses reimbursed)
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing/Field Technician to join our team. This role combines hands-on equipment assembly with field service support for our chemical recycling systems. You’ll work in-house to build and test mechanical assemblies, and in the field to install, maintain, and troubleshoot machines at customer sites.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma (technical certification an asset).
  • Experience in field service, manufacturing, or mechanical assembly.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Valid passport, driver’s license, and reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble mechanical equipment, pipe fittings, tubing, and panels using technical drawings and tools.

  • Conduct routine maintenance, identify issues, and carry out repairs.
  • Follow all safety protocols and promote a safety-first approach.
