ABOUT THE COMPANY Mrs. Gerry’s was founded in 1973 in Albert Lea, Minnesota. Mrs. Gerry’s is a premier salad and side manufacturer and offers 120 different products which are sold coast to coast. We are looking for great team members who desire a friendly work environment and want to learn how we create delicious fresh potato salad, warm mashed potatoes, cold pasta salads, zesty dips and more. Our products enable families and friends to celebrate around the dinner or picnic table every day. STARTING WAGE: $20.40 per hour HOURS: 2:00pm with varying end time DAYS: Monday through Friday SUMMARY Load and unload trucks. Rotate inventory. Pick and fill orders accurately. Use pallet jack/forklift. Will be working in cold environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties may be assigned. * Know and follow HACCP and SQF programs. * Know and follow all Food Safety procedures. * Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). * Wear all required personal protective equipment. * Must be familiar with all of Mrs. Gerry’s products being shipped. * Fill order tickets, plus understand, and organize related paperwork. * Know code dates and rotate stock. * Load and unload trucks according to safety standards. * Communicate shortages and errors effectively. * Inventory products daily. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE * Obtain forklift and pallet jack license. * Exceptional organizational skills. * Keen awareness of surroundings to ensure safety practices and monitor controllables. * Ability to count products utilizing basic math skills. * Read, speak, and write English to interpret and communicate with others about documentation. * To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
