Description
The Manufacturing Infrastructure Engineer will serve as the manufacturing interface to the Product Engineering team, leading the transition of manufacturing test stations from development into production. This role is responsible for ensuring that all manufacturing test infrastructure is fully released, documented, procured, assembled, and deployed to support production activities at Quantum Machines and its Contract Manufacturing partners. Responsibilities Manufacturing Test Infrastructure · Lead the transfer of manufacturing test stations from Product Engineering into production. · Ensure manufacturing readiness of new ATE platforms. · Review new station designs for manufacturability, scalability, and production readiness. · Support deployment and replication of test stations across manufacturing sites. Product Industrialization · Create and maintain manufacturing BOMs for test stations. · Release BOMs through Agile PLM. · Support ECO implementation. · Prepare manufacturing documentation and build packages. · Ensure complete production documentation prior to manufacturing release. Manufacturing Readiness · Coordinate procurement activities for new test stations. · Ensure material availability for production builds. · Support first station builds and manufacturing validation. · Coordinate deployment at Contract Manufacturing sites. Cross-Functional Collaboration · Work closely with Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, NPI Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and Contract Manufacturing partners. · Act as the primary manufacturing focal point for test infrastructure projects.Qualifications Requirements · B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering. · 3–5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, NPI Engineering, Test Engineering, or Product Engineering. · Experience transferring multidisciplinary products or manufacturing test stations from development into production. · Experience working with Contract Manufacturers. · Experience with BOM management, ECO processes, and Agile PLM. · Strong project management and cross-functional communication skills.
