JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

As a Manufacturing Leader, you’ll play a key role in coordinating activities, fostering collaboration, and ensuring alignment with organisational goals to deliver world-class aerospace solutions.

At GE Aerospace’s Cheltenham facility, you’ll be part of a team specialising in advanced aircraft power distribution and avionics systems. The site supports design, development, manufacturing, and aftermarket services for leading aerospace manufacturers in civilian and military sectors. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams on exciting projects, working with cutting-edge technologies that shape the future of aviation.

SKILLS:

  • Ability to lead and support teams, fostering collaboration and alignment with organisational goals.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify issues, develop solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure clear and effective interaction with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in lean tools and techniques, such as Kaizen, Standard Work, and Hoshin Kanri, to enhance processes and performance.
  • Ability to manage activities, prioritise tasks, and ensure timely delivery of projects and services.
  • Deep understanding of safety protocols and the ability to promote a safety-first culture.
  • Competence in monitoring and interpreting performance metrics to drive informed decision-making.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Relevant degree or diploma and/or equivalent experience.
  • Strong experience in manufacturing, operations,
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or similar credentials are highly desirable.
  • Ability to build relationships, influence others, and foster a culture of accountability and teamwork.
