MANUFACTURING MAINTENANCE MANAGER

Reports To: Management
Qualifications: College Degree preferred, but not required.
Must be a Journeyman Tradesman with at least 3 years’ experience

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Responsible for the supervision of skilled tradesmen, troubleshooting and repairing all machines in Gil-Mar plants.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:

• Robotic Programming (Fanuc)
• PLC Programming (Allen-Bradly, Siemens)
• Mitsubishi programming for HMI & CPU
• Cognex and Keyence IV software programming
• Cutting and Welding Laser Applications
• Proficient with Electrical Schematics and machine blueprints
• Mechanical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Electrical.
• Experience with Fixed spindle 3 Axis machining of Aluminum and Steel.
  Working Conditions:
  Industrial plant setting; continuous exposure to noise. Safety protection required. (safety shoes, ear protection and safety glasses.) Must strive for continuous improvement. Overtime required.

• Supervise hourly maintenance employees
• Supervise and repair machines and production equipment.
• Enforce Company personnel policy.
• Log and prioritize Work Orders to facilitate timely repair.
• CAD Design.
• Purchase components.
• Assemble and install production machines and equipment
• Assemble electrical panels, fluid power circuits.
• Contact vendors for machine controls, software, and spare parts.
• Train maintenance apprentices
