Location: Swindon
Salary: Up to £37,000 per annum (max)
Shift Premium: 20% for day shift
Shift Pattern: 3 on 3 off, 10:00 - 22:00

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician, your day will be filled with exciting challenges and opportunities to make a real impact. You’ll be responsible for providing crucial electrical and mechanical support to all areas of manufacturing. Your expertise will ensure smooth operations and adherence to GMP standards within our clean rooms and controlled areas. From undertaking scheduled preventive maintenance activities using SAP to monitoring machine performance and responding swiftly to breakdowns, your role will be pivotal in maintaining our high-quality production processes.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Supporting the achievement of production output standards.
  • Maintaining production machinery to optimal performance.
  • Planning and executing preventative maintenance programs.
  • Managing and maintaining machine spare parts inventory.
  • Providing expert advice on technical issues.
  • Actively supporting Continuous Improvement activities.
  • Responding quickly and effectively to machine breakdowns.
  • Monitoring machine performance and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Supporting training activities for new and existing staff.
  • Pre-planning maintenance activities to ensure efficiency.
  • Ensuring sufficient spares are available to minimise downtime.
  • Analysing and monitoring breakdown frequencies to identify trends.
  • Participating in ongoing training programs to enhance skills.
  • Participating in Risk Assessment programs to ensure a safe working environment.
