NOW HIRING MANUFACTURING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS IN HAMILTON, OH!

Shift: 1st, 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday
Rate: $33.00 (To start)
Summary: Maintenance staff will be responsible to have the knowledge of general and safety maintenance-oriented tasks in a manufacturing environment. Tasks will include routine work, as well as multi-faceted levels related to manufacturing equipment. General building and property maintenance is helpful. Knowledge of industrial machine electricity is valuable and helpful for the plant floor environment. Must possess ability to work in a team environment as well as having initiative and working on own without supervision. Interaction with vendors/contractors will be required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Graduate (GED accepted), Technical School helpful. Certifications are welcomed
  • PLC troubleshooting is helpful and desirable
  • Should have entry level experience in maintenance and/or electrical departments and be able to have a basic level of troubleshooting and to conduct good decision making
  • Forklift and Overhead Crane operations will be trained and certified
  • Basic computer skills with Outlook, Excel and Word for maintenance reports is helpful
  • Ability to Lift 50 lbs
  • Organizational Skills, Safety Awareness, Attention to Detail is important
  • Standing, Walking, Bending, Sitting is all necessary for this position
Responsibilities
  • Weekly machine start-ups including water pumps and air compressor
  • Daily, weekly, monthly machine checks including completion of check sheets and reports
  • Meter readings
  • General overall building and property maintenance
  • General safety knowledge and checks
  • Preventive maintenance
  • Maintenance requests
  • PLC troubleshooting
  • Organize/clean work area and tool room
  • Repair parts/tools usage control
  • Basic welding/fabricating (no certificate needed)
