Description Company Overview We are a growing apparel manufacturing company , located in Hauppauge, NY. We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to support our production operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment and facility systems. Position Summary The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and repairing production machinery to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operations. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems Troubleshoot and repair sewing machines, cutting equipment, compressors, pneumatic systems, and other manufacturing machinery Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues Maintain maintenance logs and records of repairs Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime Install, adjust, and test machinery and equipment as needed Coordinate with outside service providers for specialized repairs Maintain a safe and organized work environment Assist with general facility maintenance projects as required Benefits Overtime opportunities available Paid holidays and paid time off 401K & Roth Retirement Profit Sharing Medical, Dental, and Vision Health benefits available Stable, long-term employment with a growing company Schedule Full-Time Monday through Friday Day Shift Requirements 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills Experience with preventive maintenance programs Familiarity with air compressors and facility systems Experience with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment Knowledge of pneumatic systems and industrial machinery Basic electrical troubleshooting skills preferred Ability to read technical manuals and equipment documentation Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods
