Primary Responsibilities · Supervise and coordinate the efforts of each function to ensure production, quality and safety goals are achieved, consistent with business goals. · Analyze the monthly S&OP plan, work with production for detail capacity planning, provide the weekly and daily production plan, track the daily production status to support the on-time shipment. · Manage the production bottleneck, coordinate the cross functional resources to solve the problem on time to achieve the on-time completion of production plan. · Deploy NGS tools to drive continuous improvement, embed NGS into daily operation and drive lean transformation. · Maintain good communication and relationships with team members through regular workplace meetings and continuous interaction. Establish employee performance management process to reward good performers, plan and implement employee training to enhance team capability. · Direct integration of new products transferred to Suzhou site, including workable parts listing, technical procedures, proper tooling & jigs. · Coordinate, manage engineering decisions on all products made in for problems arising in day-to-day operations. Investigate and implement solutions for the problems arising in plant area, the problems may involve processes, productivity, Manufacturing methods or material. · Support EH&S program in improvements, investigations and corrective actions to meet and exceed Novanta standards and policies. Responsibilities
The Manufacturing Manager will supervise and coordinate production efforts to meet quality and safety goals while analyzing capacity planning and managing production bottlenecks. They will also drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain effective communication with team members.
