Description

Your job: 

  • Leadership & People Development:  You lead and coach several production supervisors or team leaders, developing them further in their role as people leaders. You create a modern leadership culture with clear expectations, personal responsibility, and commitment.
  • Operations & Shopfloor Management:  You are responsible for operational production performance, production discipline, output, and flexibility. Together with your managers, you ensure that challenges on the shop floor are quickly identified and sustainably resolved.
  • Quality & Patient Safety:  You ensure the highest quality standards and make responsible decisions even in the event of technical deviations. Risk assessment, product quality, and patient safety are always your top priorities.
  • Continuous Improvement:  You drive the further development of our production processes and use Lean methods to sustainably improve stability, efficiency and flexibility.
  • Organization & Costs:  You are responsible for the operational organization, skills and training management, as well as budget and costs in the area of ​​Direct Labour.
  • Collaboration:  You work closely with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and other functions, and represent Manufacturing at the management level.  

You should bring the following: 

  • Completed technical studies, e.g., medical engineering, industrial engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar.
  • Several years of management experience in an operations or manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrable experience in managing managers – for example, several team leaders, supervisors, or managers who in turn manage operational staff.
  • Solid experience in shop floor management and operational production control
  • Experience in a regulated or quality-critical industrial environment, e.g., medical technology, automotive, or a comparable industry.
  • A strong awareness of quality and safety , as well as the ability to make sound decisions even in the event of critical deviations.
  • Excellent German and English skills at a near-native speaker level.
