The Role

Reporting to the Business Manager, you will oversee day-to-day plant operations across production, safety, quality, and people management. This is a hands-on leadership role with full site exposure — from production scheduling and WHS compliance to team development and month-end reporting. You will be a key decision-maker on site and a direct pathway candidate for the Business Manager role.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily plant operations and lead production scheduling to meet output targets
• Monitor site performance across production, cost, quality, and safety metrics
• Lead, develop, and manage production staff and contractors on-site
• Conduct safety audits, toolbox talks, and incident investigations
• Drive continuous improvement across operations, compliance, and team performance

You Will Have

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or production supervisory role
• Demonstrated team leadership in an operational environment
• Strong WHS knowledge — audits, incident management, and compliance
• Administrative and reporting capability, including budget and cost awareness
• Mechanical or technical understanding (highly regarded); timber/industrial background advantageous
