The Operations Manager will be required This position will oversee the Manufacturing Operations functions from receipt of a production order through the shipment of finished products. Oversight will include all resources required for production such as people, capacity, equipment and manufacturing facilities. You will make an impact in this role by: Oversee manufacturing supervisory personnel. Will drive process improvements, determine problem root cause, and drive corrective actions. Communicates with subordinates in regard to safety, operations, and human resources. Reviews and communications disciplinary practices to supervisors and team leaders to ensure consistency. Responsible for the timely completion of all performance reviews of both direct and indirect reports. Responsible for the handling of all administrative tasks such as documenting attendance, disciplinary actions, and training documentation by direct reports in a complete and timely fashion. Assures that manufacturing operations are effectively represented on the company safety committee and that all safety programs and policies are supported and enforced throughout. Ensures that all manufacturing tasks are completed within the scheduled work calendar and within the quality standards expected by our customers. Oversee and manage the facilities' function including the maintenance of the building, grounds, and equipment. Other duties: Identify area for cost reduction and process improvement; Active role in the disposition of discrepant material; Monitor and hold all direct labor overtime to less than 5%; Responsible for the implementation of the 5s program to ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the entire manufacturing work area. Will have up to seven direct reports and manufacturing personnel indirectly. Key skills and attributes include: Must have strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaban, Visual Systems, 5s and other manufacturing management techniques. Must possess strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, presentation, influence, and negotiating skills. Must be capable of making self-directed decisions and recommendations for the manufacturing function. Proficient in MS Office. Working knowledge of ERP systems. Experience with welding. Requirements To be considered for the Financial Business Analyst role, you must have the following minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred. 7 to 10 years’ manufacturing experience required. Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
