Your Role: In this role your tasks will include, but are not limited to: Produce and purify chemical compounds to fulfill Millipore Sigma customer demands. Independently identify, investigate, and implement improvements to current production inefficiencies using 6S/OPEX principles. Lead or participate in root cause investigations and implement formal Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA). Perform and interpret complex analytical techniques (in-process testing, sample prep) and conduct small-scale experimentation. Serve as a Team Leader for cross-departmental initiatives (e.g., PDSA groups, training, ERT, Safety Committee). Document knowledge by writing/revising Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and train/mentor new employees and co-workers. Utilize expert knowledge of relevant SAP applications (PI sheets, material billing/movements). Actively foster a positive safety, quality, and inclusive culture and assist team members to improve department/site operations. 3rd shift, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM - Sunday – Thursday. Physical Attributes: Lift up to 50 lbs. Sit, stand, walk, reach above shoulder, stoop, kneel, twist, crouch, or crawl for the duration of the shift. Use close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception for the duration of the shift. Who You Are: Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. 7+ years of experience in a chemical manufacturing role. Preferred Qualifications: Associates Degree in Chemistry. 2+ years’ experience as a Manufacturing Operator 3. Experience with following oral and written instructions. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention detail. Strong problem-solving skills. Strong math skills, including using the metric system. Strong mechanical aptitude and dexterity. Experience using manual and automated equipment. Experience operating a forklift. Experience with phones, computers, office equipment and laboratory equipment. Pay Range for this position: $27/hr - $44/hr The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
