SUMMARY This position is primarily responsible for handling the packaging of products, filling boxes with the appropriate packing material, checking that packages are securely fashioned, adjusting machines for efficient product flow, and reporting any issues to your supervisor. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for filling containers with appropriate materials according to Production Schedule Ensure packages are secure and properly sealed Adjustment of machinery and/or pouring stations to achieve efficient flow of production Maintain cleanliness/organization of workspace to ensure safe work environment Responsible for labeling and prep of containers prior to filling process to ensure proper marking exists prior to filling of materials Maintain inventory of raw materials needed to perform role to ensure efficiency of Production Schedule Responsible for completion of manufacturing orders as assigned by Production Planning or Supervisor Other duties as assigned Requirements SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS Ability to handle physical workload Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to multitask and prioritize Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment Good time-management skills Attention to detail a must Team player, well organized and excellent follow through skill Strong work ethic, self-motivated and detail oriented PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT Frequently required to stand Frequently required to walk Frequently required to sit Frequently utilize visual acuity to operate equipment and read information Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds
