Description
Essential Functions: Manufactures work orders in one (1) of the following areas: BruxZir Colloidal, BruxZir NOW, BruxZir Press, BruxZir Shade Guide, Composites, Injection Molding, and Obsidian. Obtains materials from storage locations as per work order requirements. Measures, pre-batches, and delivers all components to blending area; verifies quantity and ingredient lot numbers going into the batch and documents on Bill of Material sheets. Weighs powders and liquids using a scale to prepare batches. Adheres to formula instructions to make scheduled batches. Issues components to the work order. Reports production of work-in-progress (WIP) and/or finished goods using handheld mobile devices. Operates a variety of manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to: table top presses, hydraulic presses, CNC machines, CMM and vision measurement systems, mills, injection molding machines, furnaces, ovens, mixers, and surface grinders. Utilizes hand tools such as ultrasonic scanners, glue dispensers, micrometers. Inspect products to ensure quality requirements are met, may include but is not limited to: Visual inspections for defects (chips, cracks, contamination, other imperfections) Dimensional measurements Verify shade Completes accurate paperwork related to manufacturing process. Labels and packages products for shipment to inventory according to SOP’s. Conducts final inspection and verification of finished goods and manufacturing documentation to ensure conformance to customer specifications Identifies and separates non-conforming products. Documents, records, and maintains all inspection and outgoing paperwork including completion and documentation of test and inspection results. Solves daily operations problems with limited supervision. Transports materials to next scheduled operation. Cleans, organizes, and maintains assigned work area per company 6S policy and standards. Completes daily job checklists and equipment checks/calibrations to maintain quality. Participates in 6S and kaizen activity as directed. Documents individual production using a variety of tools such as hour-by-hour boards, takt time tracking, and other visual management systems. Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum one (1) year of manufacturing experience. Pay Range: $20.00-$22.00p/hr.
