RESPONSIBILITIES: Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager you will be responsible for the following: Automated and Manual assembly of Electronic Circuit Boards to applicable Drawings and Standards Setup and operation of Precision Production equipment including but not limited to SMT Pick & Place, AOI, Reflow Oven, Selective Solder, Board Wash, Automated Sprayers and dispensers Post Insert Hand Soldering, and reworking of Non-conforming assemblies to applicable Drawings and Standards Applying conformal coating, adhesives, and other chemicals through manual or automated processes Mechanical Assembly of End Units to applicable Drawings using various Hand Tools Inspection of Electronic Circuit Board Assemblies, and Mechanical Assemblies to ensure conformity to applicable Drawings and Standards Referencing Drawings and Parts Lists to validate/obtain correct parts/components to be used Strict adherence to all Procedures and Work Instructions, Lean Manufacturing principles, and escalation of any deviations to the Manager and/or Supervisor Completion of all required Product & Process Documentation, entry of Labour and other data into the ERP system and all other tracking databases Work independently and as a team to maintain production requirements and support meeting targets for Departmental KPIs and Measures of Performance Other duties as assigned within the functional areas and is inclusive of SMT responsibilities REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12 or equivalent Experience in an electronics manufacturing environment and familiarity with IPC-A-610 & J-STD-001 standards considered an asset Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings, Parts Lists and other related documentation Accuracy and attention to detail Previous experience with the operation of precision automated equipment preferred Computer skills in MS Office Suite and ERP software Ability to lift 60 lbs Wage Rate 0-3 Months < 1 YR 1-2 YR > 2YR $21.03 $22.25 $23.47 $25.40 AI Disclosure: This employer uses AI-assisted tools to screen and assess applicants; all final decisions are made by human reviewers.
