Manufacturing Planner Company: Boeing United Kingdom Limited Role Overview The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Planner to join our Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Production & Industrial Engineering (P&IE) Fabrication team. Strong candidates will have prior experience in developing and maintaining productive relationships with customers, stakeholders, and peers, as well as a background in problem-solving skills, a willingness to take initiative, and the ability to partner across functions. Role Responsibilities: Create and maintain manufacturing documentation including Bills of Materials, work instructions, illustrations, and as-built configurations. Develop manufacturing concepts, strategies, and integrated plans to support business objectives, delivery schedules, cost targets, and regulatory requirements. Integrate and manage suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technologies; review and approve supplier data to ensure manufacturing readiness. Define tooling requirements from initial design through end-of-use disposition and manage the tooling lifecycle. Investigate and resolve manufacturing issues and perform producibility assessments for parts and product designs. Provide producibility input to design, manufacturing processes, and technologies to meet cost and schedule goals. Develop integrated work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments. Draft, update, and review processes and procedures to support business operations and regulatory compliance. Applicants will be considered based on the strength of their Production Engineering background, breadth and depth of experience, and educational background. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Relevant qualification in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry or similar; or equivalent work experience in a related field. Proven experience in the fundamentals of metallic component manufacturing. Familiarity with Aerospace specifications and processes. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): A passion for Aerospace, and experience working in the sector. Applied knowledge in areas such as metallurgy, grinding, heat treatment, surface processing or NDT. Experience working with gears or transmission components. Experience with structured problem solving (RCCA/8D). Lean Six Sigma experience or certification. Leading PPAP and/or PFEMA activities.
