POSITION SUMMARY
The Planner serves as the bridge between engineering specifications and production execution. As a key strategic contributor, the planner is responsible for translating complex engineering designs into actionable manufacturing instructions while embodying Knight Aerospace’s core values and commitment to exceptional customer satisfaction.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

· An associate degree or higher, or an equivalent certification with relevant experience, is preferred
· A background in manufacturing is highly valued

· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Ability to interact effectively with planning relevant stakeholders

· Create and maintain comprehensive job instructions within the company enterprise resource planning (ERP) system
· Develop and maintain operation workflow sequencing of jobs
· Develop a detailed Bill of Materials (BOM) with precision and accuracy
· Analyzing released BOMs to Production Control for stock verification
· Provide updated BOMs to the Purchasing department
· Ensure consistency and accuracy of all manufacturing documentation
· Collaborate with Production Control to optimize manufacturing operation sequencing and requirements
· Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure manufacturing operations align with technical drawings
