BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree from an accredited course of study, in technology-related fields or other technical degree. Plus 2 years of exp or more (for Bachelors) and the below experience, or 4 years of experience or more (for an Associates) and the below experience:
  • Experience in Manufacturing Planning w/Bachelor’s or 4+ years of exp w/Associates.
  • Experience in a military or commercial aircraft environment w/Bachelor’s or 4+ years of exp w/Associates.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP tools
  • Experience in manufacturing processes, policies and procedures, handling tooling issues, supplier driven changes

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of Manufacturing Planning experience in commercial aircraft environment
  • 1+ years of experience in Production or Spares

TYPICAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years’ related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Responsibilities
  • Perform ME responsibilities (i.e. interpret drawings, models, specifications, and other technical documentation to ensure manufacturability of spare parts)
  • Building technical data packages for use by suppliers
  • Plan and perform engineering analysis work at the sub component level to assure total compliance with structural integrity and requirements
  • Work closely with Team Leads to assist other team members
  • Work with project engineers, stress, suppliers and procurement to support customer needs
  • Work and coordinate with other engineering groups to ensure requirements are met
  • Develop analytical process to improve effectiveness, quality and efficiency
  • Experience in manufacturing processes, policies and procedures, handling tooling issues, supplier driven changes
  • Being able to Interpret Industry/Company Standards & Processes
  • Some tools to be familiar with are SAP, REDARS, PDM and other industry engineering tools
