OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manufacturing Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing plant production, implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies to optimize processes, improve quality, reduce waste, and ensure operational excellence. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and a deep understanding of manufacturing engineering and continuous improvement practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering field; advanced degrees preferred.
  • Proven experience managing manufacturing operations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma implementation.
  • Demonstrated success in leading continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt are highly desirable.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all manufacturing plant operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety regulations are achieved.
  • Develop, implement, and sustain Lean Six Sigma initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce variation, and eliminate waste.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects using data-driven analysis and proven methodologies.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, quality, safety, and cost effectiveness; take corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations and process improvements.
  • Manage plant budgets, resources, and staffing to meet business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement among team members.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities for plant personnel.
  • Prepare reports and communicate performance results to senior management.
