How would you like to enhance your career, right here at Chroma, with a as a Manufacturing Process Developer?! Your Role: The Manufacturing Process Developer plays a key role in translating sales orders, RFQ’s, and designs into manufacturing plans. This includes developing Cost of Goods, suggesting production process improvements and regular interaction with internal customers and departments throughout the organization.  Responsibilities Include: * Develop part codes, internal specifications and manufacturing plans for the manufacturing of optics, and ensures instructions are accurate and complete * Aid Sales in quoting process by developing Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), fielding RFQ requests, and advising on feasibility of manufacturing, including review of customer drawings * Manage construction of manufacturing plans, part numbers, run and work orders  * Produce Specification Drawings for Sales * Create Quality Assurance documents (CofA, FAI) for production work orders * Assists with technical communication between Sales, Design, Order Management, Manufacturing, QC and Administration. * Assist in the improvement of production related processes and related tools * Assist in the procurement of tools and materials necessary for production * Assist in the development of improved construction methods  * May be required to interact directly with customers * Interpret drawings, graphic representations, and written specifications * Exhibit commitment to continuous quality improvement * Communicate in a clear, effective and professional manner * Promote a positive, collaborative, and customer-centric culture Compensation and Benefits * Pay Range $50,000 - $70,000 * Employee Ownership * Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance * 401K and Profit Sharing * 80 Hours Sick/Personal Time and 80 Hours Vacation  * Education Assistance and Wellness Reimbursement Please note that the compensation offered to the selected candidate will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
