JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer with strong experience in the aerospace sector to lead the quotation process and support manufacturing planning. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Bombardier and De Havilland specifications and be able to translate complex aerospace part requirements into accurate cost estimates and efficient production strategies.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong knowledge of Bombardier and De Havilland technical specifications and quality requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and aerospace specs
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Experience in CNC machining, sheet metal, and assembly processes
  • Proficiency with CAD/CAM, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, preferably in a job shop environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed quotations for aerospace clients, including time studies, material requirements, and cost breakdowns
  • Analyze technical drawings and 3D models to determine machining, assembly, and inspection processes
  • Interpret and apply Bombardier and De Havilland aerospace standards and specifications
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and purchasing teams to ensure manufacturability and compliance
  • Identify process improvements to reduce cost and improve quality and lead times
  • Assist in creating routers, BOMs, and work instructions
  • Interface with aerospace customers during RFQ and technical review phases
  • Support the onboarding of new projects from quotation to production launch
