Description
Manufacturing Process Specialist In this roleyou will be responsible for assisting, coordinating and following up on all production control processes to facilitate manufacturing operations. Position Responsibilities: · Review and determine the production process necessary to produce metal parts. · Establish routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, methods documentation, labor estimates for revisions to current operations and/or new parts. · Work with Engineering, Manufacturing and Purchasing to assess Process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and document to completion. · Apply continuous improvement methods such as lean manufacturing to enhance manufacturing quality, reliability, and/or cost-effectiveness. · Identify opportunities on new and existing products and implement changes to improve products or reduce costs using knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment, assembly methods, quality control standards, and/or materials. · Bachelor’s Degree preferred or relevant experience · 5 years experience in manufacturing including metal fabrication, machining, weld and assembly required is required. · Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing process equipment involving multi-process metalworking, machining and fabrication operations. · Proficiency in reading blueprints. · Understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T dimensioning. · Project Management experience a plus. · Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma experience. · Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with experience working in a team environment Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Retirement Plan (401k, IRA) Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D) Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays) Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Short Term & Long Term Disability Training & Development
