POSITION SUMMARY Hourly Wage: $21.00 to $24.00 Hours: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm Location: Plainwell, MI Student Intern - In-person work location Assist the engineering department through various projects, primarily with CAD work and implementing continuous improvement requests. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES  * Create CAD models and drawings for manufacturing. * Update part processes and drawings from continuous improvement requests. * Assist engineers on new projects. * Other tasks as assigned KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS * Drawing/CAD experience (Solidworks preferred) * Second year of college or greater EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE * Currently enrolled at a four-year college or university in a curriculum including mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or other related technical discipline.  PHYSICAL DEMANDS * The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. WORK ENVIRONMENT * Working conditions are normal for an office setting within a manufacturing environment. Loose-fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted. * Employees must demonstrate physical ability to work in a standing or sitting position, up to 8-12 hours per day.
