MANUFACTURING PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE - PRODUCTION TEAM MEMBER

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Outstanding attendance and punctuality
  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • High attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to perform repetitive and physical tasks
  • Basic hand tool experience (shop, construction, mechanical, etc.)
  • Willingness to learn new tasks
  • A strong work ethic and cooperative approach will assist you in succeeding with our company

EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, construction or fabrication is preferred but not necessary.
  • Previous experience in drywall installation and finishing is an asset.
  • Experience using a table saw, chop saw, drywall screw-gun, and/or a variety of hand tools is an asset.
  • Previous experience restoring surfaces by sanding, priming, and finishing is an asset.
  • Previous experience with machines and tools in industries like fine furniture making, cabinet making, or window and door manufacturing would be a potential asset.

Responsibilities

As part of the production group, you will work with an open, collaborative, results oriented team on a variety of tasks related to the manufacturing of our access panels. You will produce components, assemble, and fit parts to close tolerances in accordance with work orders. You will rely on your ability to pay close attention to the work at hand and ensure detailed preparation and processing of materials such as aluminum, wood, gypsum board and steel. You will play an important role in the quality and timely production of the products we produce.
