Description
Responsibilities VOME is a cross-functional team having the primary responsibility to plan for and implement the launch of new vehicle programs at assembly plants. Deliver Manufacturing Delivery Quality Operating System requirements for your specific Subsystem (Electrical, Powertrain, Suspension, Exterior, Interior) Collaborate with Product Development team to generate facility & tooling costs, improve quality, and reduce labor requirements Develop "Lessons Learned" from New Model launches and implement Prevent Reoccurrence Actions into future programs Support Department Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People, Morale, Environment, and Innovation (SQDCPMEI)initiatives Bachelor's degree 2+ years of experience in Automotive Manufacturing Engineering 2+ years of experience w/automotive assembly tooling, processes and facilities Bachelor's degree in engineering Strong Project Management skills and result-oriented mindset Strong computer skills (Excel, Power Point, etc.) 3D CAD review abilities (Teamcenter, VisMockup, CATIA, or equivalent) Understanding of PFMEA and failure mode avoidance principles Knowledge in the following Ford software systems: AVBOM, WERS, GSPAS/APT, Teamcenter, E2KS, AIM, CPARS Experience in one or more of the following automotive systems: Interior, Exterior, Chassis, Powertrain, Electrical, Water test, End of Line Error proofing experience
