Role Overview: The Manufacturing Programmer is responsible for bridging the gap between the design and manufacturing phases of the production process. This role will review all code for machinery and robotics, including writing the code, so that precise tasks can be completed in accordance with engineering specifications. The Manufacturing Programmer will interpret project blueprints, design programs and set up the machines to produce the component outlined in the program. They must perform test runs and adjust until the resulting product meets blueprint specifications.  Job Responsibilities: * Writing and optimizing CNC programs to create complex parts and components. * Selecting the appropriate tools, machines, and materials for each job. * Testing programs and adjusting to ensure efficiency and quality. * Collaborating with engineers and machinists to evaluate project requirements and resolve issues related to machine setup and program performance. * Maintaining records and documentation for machine specifications and programming notes. * Staying updated with the latest software and training on new equipment. * Ensuring compliance with safety rules and regulations in the workplace. * Read technical drawings and set up the machines in accordance with these blueprints. * Use computer software to model cutting paths and program machines accordingly. * Perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications. * Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality. * Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor’s Degree in related field. * Must have prior experience in manufacturing field, preferably with fabrication. * Must have strong attention to detail. * Familiarity and skill with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints. * Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems that arise. * Experience with software design programs to be able to interpret drawings. * Familiarity with root cause analysis techniques for troubleshooting issues.
