What do you get to do in this position • Follow and execute process robustness action plan to reduce main high RPNs. • Automation knowledge to implement process robustness action plan. • Integrate robotics with peripherals such test equipment, assembly, dc drivers. • Integrate machines and assembly lines into MIS and plants’ digital manufacturing systems. • Develop PLC and HMI programs for automated equipment. • Main activities: control and automation, PLC programming, digital signaling connections and control design. • Develop interface between system (software) and PLC for interlock. • Maintains up to date knowledge of equipment technologies and utilizes this knowledge to specify and develop innovative solutions This job might be for you if You fit the following Requirements: Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or Computer Science 3+ years’ experience in automation industry or high volume manufacturing environment PLC programming Knowledge of various MIS and MES Configuring and designing HMI systems Familiar with vision systems (Cognex, Keyence) Familiar with dc drivers Familiar with motion controllers and actuators Knowledge of communication protocols Experience with electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems Advanced English Level is required (written and verbal) Proven ability to work independently in a multicultural virtual environment across various functions (design engineering, purchasing, quality, marketing, finance, mfg operations and others) Proven ability to influence and convince through negotiation Motivated self-starter, who can work in parallel on multiple projects Facilitator to drive problem solving and troubleshooting activities We seek out and reward people for being straightforward, open, passionate, effective and challenging the status quo.
