Responsibilities

This role is responsible for maintaining compliance with product specifications, conducting audits and tests, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and drive process improvements across the plant.

  • Participate in plant improvement initiatives
  • Perform and follow up on critical quality checks (with GL)
  • Process trials, product testing, and result reporting
  • Raw material testing/trials for COA specs
  • Accurate documentation of test results
  • Train and coach Quality Techs on procedures/specs (with GL support

Requires two plus years of experience in Engineering or Data Analytics role in manufacturing environment.

  • Working knowledge of advanced data analytics software.
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to organize and create work schedules; solve problems; provide leadership and work well with others at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated experience leading performance improvement projects in gypsum or a related industry.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Self-motivated individual who is also venturesome
