Description
This position operates under a 4x3 work schedule, meaning employees work four days per week with three days off. This arrangement supports operational needs while also providing extended personal time and work-life balance.   RESPONSIBILITIES  * Monitor and evaluate manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.   * Conduct inspections, audits, and tests of components  * Analyze and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions as necessary.  * Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quality control and testing.  * Review product designs, specifications, and production methods to ensure quality standards are integrated from the beginning. Work with engineering and production teams to optimize production methods and quality standards.  * Conduct root cause analysis of quality problems and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.  * Collaborate with clients and external partners to ensure product quality and resolve quality concerns promptly.  * Supervise and mentor quality technicians, providing guidance on testing, inspections, and reporting.  * Develop and deliver training programs to educate production staff and quality technicians on quality standards and best practices.  * Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and audits to ensure traceability and compliance with industry standards.  * Prepare and present quality reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and improvement initiatives.    QUALIFICATIONS  * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field.  * Minimum of 4-8 years of experience in a quality engineering role, ideally within the HVAC, thermal systems, or assembly component industries.  * Experience in supervising quality technicians and leading quality improvement initiatives.   * Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001, ASQ certifications, and other relevant industry standards.   * Experience with statistical analysis, process control techniques, and root cause analysis methods    PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS  * The role is primarily based in a manufacturing facility, requiring regular site visits and interaction with production teams.  * Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety protocols.   * The role involves extended periods of sitting in front of a computer.  * Occasional standing or walking may be required during meetings, presentations, or site visits.  * Work is primarily conducted in an office environment with controlled temperature and lighting.    TIME TRAVEL REQUIRED  * Travel to different office or plants locations, client sites, or conferences may be necessary.
