DESCRIPTION - The Manufacturing Quality Engineer is responsible for module component product quality throughout the product life cycle. - Drive quality deliverables at the factory for proto builds and mass production independently. - Collaborate with design, engineering and reliability teams to set appropriate quality control/Inspection/metrology stations on the production line to meet design requirements. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS BSME (MS preferred) or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Engineering or Materials Science. Fluent english communication skills. 3 + years quality experience in either manufacturing or the development of consumer electronics. Experience in metrology and standard manufacturing quality control practices. Experience developing process quality plans, supplier quality audits, and driving corrective actions and failure analysis efforts. Expertise in PFMEA, QCP, GRR, GD&T practices, Metrology and tolerance analysis. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Project management experience and a deep understanding of problem solving tools including DOE, root cause analysis, and statistical tools. Experience with any of the following: Mechanical enclosures, chem etching, plastic parts, stamping, tooling, jigs/fixtures, or high volume quality manufacturing engineering (e.g. Automotive, Consumer Electronics, Medical Devices, Etc). Prior experience in design/manufacturing of Chemical Etching Components with tight tolerances is preferred. Prior experience in design/manufacturing of Exposure & Developing & Polishing & Plating process is preferred. Prior experience in design/manufacturing of Molding/Stamping process. Hybrid capability(such as AI/ML experience, Python, programming) is a plus. Proficient on statistic tools such as JMP. Good knowledge of precision metrology(such as Hex CMM, Nikon OMM, AOI development). Strong communication skills and passion to learn and adapt to a dynamic environment.
