DESCRIPTION In this highly visible role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on Apple Products and leave a footprint for years to come! As quality engineers, we enable the mass creation of impossible products as a partner in the development of Apple's renowned designs. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 7+ years experience in either Manufacturing or the development of consumer electronics. Experience in battery is a plus BS/MS or equivalent in Chemical/ Mechanical/ECE Engineering PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS PhD or equivalent in Chemical/ Mechanical/ECE Engineering Experience in metrology and standard manufacturing quality control practices Experience in electro-mechanical products in high volume manufacturing Creative problem solving experience Technical systems knowledge related to computers Project management experience and a deep understanding of problem solving tools including design of experiments, root cause analysis, and statistical tools Familiarity with GRR, MSA, GD&T practices, Metrology, DFMEA and tolerance analysis is a plus Knowledge of reliability methods and quality sampling methodologies Knowledge or prior experience working on thermal products for consumer electronics industry preferred Strong communication skills and passion to learn and adapt to a dynamic environment Prior experience in design/manufacturing of Battery modules is a plus
