Job Description Pay: $27/hr PLUS $2/hr shift differential hours worked after 5:30pm Location: Pen Argyl, PA Shift: Monday 7:30am - 5pm, Tuesday - Friday 2pm-11:30pm (First 3 months of training will be M-F 6:30am-4pm) Position: As a Quality Technician, you’ll inspect and test raw materials and finished concrete products to ensure they meet Techo-Bloc’s quality standards. You’ll work closely with the production team to catch issues early, support continuous improvement, and help deliver a consistent, high-quality product every day. Duties and Responsibilities: Performs weekly audits on finished concrete products by paying attention to height, shape, color and consistency with the use of comparison samples, testing instruments and visual inspections. Records and maintains all testing data to ensure all products are made in accordance with company requirements and industry standards. Operates lab testing equipment to perform quality tests on incoming raw materials and finished concrete products. Operates a concrete saw to obtain sample coupons used in various lab tests. Works alongside production teams to ensure that all in process testing is performed properly and meeting the company standards. Tracks customer complaints and communicates issues to the production team. Communicates results of inspections and testing to the supervisor and production personnel daily. Shovel and carry aggregates in buckets used for testing. Adheres to established policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations. Qualifications Qualifications / Requirements High school diploma/GED or 3+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment (or equivalent combination) Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel Able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting Strong written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented with ability to keep accurate records/documentation Able to follow standard work instructions and quality procedures Good time management and able to work independently with minimal supervision Skills You’ll Use Read and understand simple work instructions and documentation Write basic notes, reports, or communication updates Use basic math (addition/subtraction/multiplication/division, fractions/decimals, percentages) Use good judgment and problem-solving in routine situations Why Work With Techo-Bloc?
