Job Title: Manufacturing Services Technician – Electrician
(Machine Tool Maintenance – Electrical)
Working Pattern: Full Time – Shift Working – 3 Shift Pattern
Working location: Bristol (non-hybrid role)

The Manufacturing Services Technician - Electrician is responsible for performing Electrical fault-finding, repairs and maintenance on a variety of production assets and all associated ancillary equipment. There is a breadth of assets including machine tools and chemical process lines. You will work alongside other skilled tradesmen to provide support to the Manufacturing Services Leader and Manufacturing Services Engineers to ensure the organisation’s objectives and goals are delivered.

To be successful in this role you will need to have a breadth of experience that you can call upon in electrical maintenance and installation work.

  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent in relevant Electrotechnical time served apprenticeship
  • Current BS7671 Certificate (currently 18th Edition)
  • Experience fault finding and working on safety critical equipment such as machine tools, chemical process lines or similar
  • 2391 Test & Inspect Training is desirable
  • Able to work to engineering drawings, with a good understanding of Electrical Principles, Installation and Maintenance Operation
