We are looking for a Manufacturing Shift Leader to join our team in Adana Plant. This role will be responsible for leading frontline employees in a manufacturing facility — including those involved in production, cleaning, maintenance, and other related activities — directing their work in accordance with PepsiCo's Code of Conduct, plant rules and priorities, and coordinating shift operations. Responsibilities Manage plant resources effectively Carry out the necessary organizational planning in process and packaging areas in line with the production plan to meet customer demands on time and produce the required quantities accurately and on schedule Operate production lines according to best practices and manage frontline employees Observe production lines, employees, and equipment during the shift and provide guidance to employees Prepare work schedules in accordance with the production plan, and plan and track working hours and rest periods Ensure production is carried out in compliance with Food Safety and Occupational Health & Safety standards and adhere to all relevant regulations Track the key performance indicators of the team and drive performance improvement Regularly monitor and evaluate employee performance, provide feedback, and take necessary actions to support their development Conduct regular team meetings to review results with the team and keep frontline employees informed Plan and implement employees' annual leave Ensure effective communication between teams Support relevant departments during new product trials Identify maintenance and repair needs of the production lines under responsibility and ensure the necessary support is obtained from relevant departments Ensure that all activities carried out within the department are performed, monitored, and evaluated in accordance with GEHSMS, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, food safety system procedures and instructions Be responsible for the entire plant area outside of daytime working hours (when no authorized manager is present) Ensure the swift onboarding of newly hired frontline employees and support the completion of their machine operation training Lead hourly and 4-hour QCDM meetings to support lean manufacturing processes Motivate the team, create an inclusive environment, and ensure active participation of frontline employees in plant initiatives and campaigns Ensure timely intervention and coordination of the team during planned or unplanned production line stoppages Ensure that decisions made by management are communicated and that necessary information is conveyed to shift employees and put into effect Report any emergency situations that may arise during the shift — such as breakdowns, fires, explosions, occupational accidents, or employee health issues — to the relevant managers in a timely manner Qualifications Graduate of an Engineering faculty (Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering preferred) Preferably fluent in spoken and written English Able to work in a 3-shift system Creates an inclusive working environment Highly motivated Team-oriented Strong communication skills Strong presentation skills
