Job Description Summary The role is for leading the CVT lab activities which includes lab safety and management, ensure completion of routine tests and customer FAT as per plan. This also involves liasing with other labs, other functions and leading lab teams to ensure all tests ( routine and customer FAT) are completed as per plan. Ensure Lab maintenance as per schedule. Conducting of any type and special tests wherever required. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Lead the CVT lab activities alongwith their team are responsible for daily test load containing the following Daily Routine tests and FAT Management/ customer discussions Type/Special tests (wherever required), specification definition, establishment of test methodologies Preparation of ITP. Review of Tender/Contract technical documents for physical verification and dimension check during FAT Preparation of test reports within defined timelines. Ensure the Safety and Quality KPIs for lab Lab maintenance – Spare and breakdown management New instrument/CAPEX requirement- Finalization of quotes, CAPEX Budgeting..etc Daily lab scheduling as per plan ( MPS, Flash 30 test meeting), FAT management and On time submission of routine/FAT reports. Able to interact with customers and explain about the test process/methodologies, specifications during the customer FAT Verify conformance to specification by measuring and testing during in-house manufacturing. Broadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy. May include support roles with specialized technical field of knowledge; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills. Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area. Required Qualifications For roles outside of the USA- This role requires basic experience in the Manufacturing & Production Quality Control. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience) with minimum 5+years experience Desired Characteristics Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills. Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures.
