About the Role: We are looking for a detail-oriented, and quality-focused Manufacturing Specialist to join our team! In this role, you'll engage in a variety of routine and /or semi-repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment in accordance with standardized processes, procedures, or methods. What a typical day looks like: Mechanical and/or electrical operations or assemblies involving fixed indicating meters, in-circuit test/functional test, marking machines, jigs & fixtures, packaging equipment, wire cutting, stripping & twisting equipment, various types of fastening devices involving power operations, hand tools and gauges (fixed, micrometers, calipers, rules). Ability to solder in accordance with J-STD-001 and IPC-620 or ability to be trained Responsible for daily clean-up of all assigned work areas and to practice Good Housekeeping skills. Use computer skills with applicable MS office programs and other software. Assemble and/or repair printed wiring assemblies (PWA), subassemblies, instruments, and final assemblies of various components utilizing a wide range of tools, work processes and skills to approved documented procedures/specifications. Deploy sound inventory control methods and procedures. This will include being able to allocate materials to work orders, incoming inspection assistance, and ability to issue inventory in MRP if applicable. Handle, mix and test hazardous chemicals while using PPE. Basic duties as required to meet production needs. Must also be flexible to OT or a flex schedule. Work in a team environment Requirements Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required Must have reliable transportation. Must be quality conscious. Basic computer skills and the ability to follow written instructions. Ability to read, write, and comprehend English to interpret work instructions, documentation, and safety requirements. Effective verbal and written communication. Ability to add and subtract whole numbers, fractions and decimals using direct reading, gauges, rulers, and scales. Collaborates effectively within a team and adjusts to shifting priorities and environments. Must be U.S. persons within the definition of ITAR, with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee. Preferred Qualifications: Ability to read and understand schematics, wire diagrams, and mechanical drawings. Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, ITAR). Physical Requirements: May be required to lift or exert up to 55 pounds. Compensation: This is a non-exempt position. Compensation is based on experience in manufacturing, education, and prior experience in manufacturing.
