Role Summary The Manufacturing Specialist supports our machine shop by precisely cutting and beveling pipe coupons, maintaining a safe and organized workspace, and assisting with special fabrication projects. This role is central to shop efficiency, safety, and quality. What You’ll Do Pipe coupon preparation & shop operations: Cut and bevel pipe coupons to exact dimensions/angles; operate saws, beveling machines, and other shop equipment safely and efficiently. Safety & maintenance: Champion a strong safety culture, follow procedures, identify hazards, perform routine maintenance (cleaning, lubrication, basic troubleshooting), and escalate issues as needed. Project support & quality: Assist with fabrication/assembly for special projects; follow instructions, collaborate across the team, and meet quality standards. Maintain accurate records, including material usage and any spec deviations. Communication & professionalism: Keep supervisors informed on status, equipment, and safety concerns; seek continuous improvement; perform other duties as assigned. Track weekly metrics: Report weekly coupon counts.
