Description

Working in partnership with the Regional Operations Lead, AMEA, you will lead all activities related to Operations and Supply Chain within the AMEA Region. You will play an integral part in the definition and achievement of the AMEA strategy, planning organizing, directing and coordinating the all operational and supply chain needs in order to meet short and long term operational objectives, while complying with customer requirements, rules, laws and regulations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving the development and achievement of the BCOS Model within the wave deployment strategy.
  • Developing and implementing operational strategies to meet BC Global and Regional goals.
  • Managing daily operations, ensuring smooth functioning of departments, and implementing changes as needed.
  • Developing, monitoring, and analyzing operational budgets to ensure financial efficiency and profitability.
  • Overseeing the entire supply chain, from sourcing to distribution, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
  • Directing and controlling production processes to meet quality standards and customer demands within budget and timelines.
  • Managing warehousing, transportation, and distribution networks to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods to customers.
  • Analyzing operational performance, identifying areas for improvement, and reporting on key metrics to management.
  • Ensuring adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing operational teams across different regions and functions.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, vendors, and customers.
  • Ensuring compliance with HSE policies and procedures across all operations and that safety and quality continue to be at the core of the culture. Serve as the senior ambassador for ‘Food Safety and People Safety’.
  • Work closely with other regions or functions in order to establish and ensure streamlined processes and effective decision making for product flows.
  • Create succession and talent management plans, and manage the recruitment and retention of regions CSD resources.

Pre-requisites for this role include:

  • University degree; master or bachelor degree
  • Fluent in English
  • Good knowledge of Operations & Supply Chain
  • More than 10 Years experience in Operations & Supply Chain
  • Knowledge of CI activities, best practices and processes
  • Strategic thinker, has the ability to develop and implement long-term operational strategies
  • Knowledge of chocolate manufacturing and supply chain will have an added advantage
  • Significant change management experience
  • Financial Acumen, has the understanding of financial principles and the ability to manage budgets effectively.
  • Ability to identify problems, analyze data, and develop solutions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
