Our Tullamore plant which is ISO certified to 13485 and operates in a certified class 8 cleanroom, has a vacancy for a Manufacturing Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Computer Literate.
  • 12 months experience in a controlled environment (cleanroom) desirable.
  • Medical extrusion experience a distinct advantage
  • Experience of people management
  • 3rd level related qualification desirable but not essential

Responsibilities
  • Maintain EHS TRIR=0 and highlight any concerns or non compliance immediately.
  • Lead team and assign tasks as required to ensure max uptime and utilization of resources.
  • Coach and mentor the shift team to develop their skills and optimise performance and proactively utilise available tools to support people management.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with other teams and departments.
  • Build quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements and product specifications including GMP, GDP and PPE.
  • Proactively lead, manage and upskill the Manufacturing Team Members to achieve optimum results.
  • Manage performance, support and motivate Manufacturing Team Members to achieve plant metrics.
  • Manage attendance in conjunction with HR and carry out timely documented counselling and disciplinary actions as required.
  • Create and maintain an environment that promotes and fosters team work
  • Implement and support HR systems, policies, procedures and practices.
  • Drive daily production meetings with a focus on the delivery of safe, effective, quality product in adherence with schedule.
  • Lead team to maintain efficiency with the objective of achieving Scrap, OEE and FPY plant goals.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. GMP, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with agreed customer requirements.
  • Reporting equipment faults and follow-up for quick resolution
  • Any other duties as required.
