Description
Your new role: We are seeking a driven and adaptable individual to join our team based in Kilburn, South Australia. The Kilburn site contains manufacturing, galvanising and warehouse facilities servicing a national branch network of warehouses and sales teams. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day supervision of manufacturing staff and contractors working within our factory, including ensuring the completion of pre-start checklists and processes, coaching, developing, delegating, and recognising team members to strive for productivity goals, monitoring and managing staff performance, ensuring staff meet safety, quality, health and environmental standards at all times, communicating across all levels of the business, and driving continuous improvement. You will bring: Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Exposure to rollforming and sheet metal machinery would be viewed favourably Sound knowledge and understanding of HSEQ requirements Strict adherence to safety and PPE requirements Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to problem solve Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office experience advantageous) Ability to lead and manage a team and demonstrated people skills Why join us?
