The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This role requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to continuous improvement, and the ability to foster a collaborative team atmosphere. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff to ensure efficient operation of the manufacturing process. Monitor production schedules and adjust staffing levels as necessary to meet demand. Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices. Maintain accurate records of production metrics, quality control data, and employee performance. Address any operational issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain productivity. Experience Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment is preferred. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control standards, and safety regulations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team. Proficient in using manufacturing software and tools for tracking production metrics. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with all levels of staff and management.
