We are actively seeking an experienced Manufacturing Team Leader to lead and coordinate team activities; including delegating work assignments, inventory management, policy adherence, and training under the direction of the Production Supervisor. Essential Job Functions Quickly address operational challenges while maintaining a productive work environment Support lean manufacturing and efficiency initiatives Track labor, materials, and production output Communicate effectively, support team development, and maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement Engage in problem solving Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customer’s expectations Coach safety, quality, and productivity to ensure objectives are met through following standardized work instructions Communicate and enforce company policies and procedures Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Team Leader will lead and coordinate team activities including delegating work assignments, inventory management, policy adherence, and training Plan and maintain work schedules, assignments, and production sequences Train and develop team members to perform job duties according to company procedures and policies for safety and accuracy Interpret work orders, specifications, and company policies and procedures for employees Assist with and perform work activities as necessary to maintain workflow Assist with evaluating of employees performance with Supervisors Follow standard work instructions Perform other duties assigned Other Job Functions Comply with FIC’s Safety policies and procedures Comply with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 procedures and standards Perform 5-S activities Requirements Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional fluency in English Strong technical and computer skills Must possess problem solving and critical thinking skills 4 or more years of Team Leader experience Must be willing to cross-train Must be able to work company’s required overtime Must comply with FIC’s Attendance and Punctuality Policy Bilingual English/Spanish is desired but not required Pay Range $25/hour - $39/hour, based on qualifications and experience Additional Compensation We operate two shifts and 2nd Shift employees are given a $1/hour shift differential Benefits Offered Medical plans offered through Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Delta Dental, and VSP Vision Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) Healthcare FSA, Dependent Care FSA, and Transit FSA 401(k) – Company will match 50% of the first 6% you contribute to your 401(k) Basic Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability paid by employer Optional Supplemental Life Insurance and Long-Term Disability (Employee Paid) Vacation, Holiday, and Personal Days Paid About FIC America Corp.
