Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is looking for you to join our team as a Manufacturing Technician 1/ Manufacturing Tech 2 based out of Clearfield, UT.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS FOR MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN 1:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications
  • Ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include: bending, stooping, and kneeling, carrying tools, lifting up to 35 pounds and working overhead
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Must successfully complete and pass the “ASTAR New Hire Training / Compliance” within a reasonable time period, as defined by the company to meet its business need.

  • High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years of experience in Aerospace or Manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications
  • Ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include: bending, stooping, and kneeling, carrying tools, lifting up to 35 pounds and working overhead
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Must successfully complete and pass the “ASTAR New Hire Training / Compliance” within a reasonable time period, as defined by the company to meet its business need.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Composite experience and/or certification
  • Aerospace assembly
  • Demonstrated ability using standard measuring equipment and power hand tools
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical specifications and operating procedures

Responsibilities

As a Manufacturing Technician you work on the next generation composite structures.
This job involves the fabrication of composite hardware using a variety of methods such as hand layup, bonding, assembly, trimming and final finishing. It will require development of skills to competently perform tasks designed to produce product that meet our customer expectations. Tasks may be in team environments or individual based.
